Blake Lively for ELLE US March 2012

Blake Lively first found fame with The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and then on Gossip Girl. As the latter just celebrated its 100th episode and it appears the show is a strong contender of being renewed for a sixth season. The blonde bombshell gives us her best over the shoulder pout on the March issue of ELLE shot by photographer Tom Munro.

The headline is totally appropriate: “There’s Something About Blake” and yea…we 100% agree with that statement. From the moment she kicked that soccer ball across the screen in Sisterhood, we were hooked. Head over to ELLE.com to check out Blake’s editorial were she sports some body conscious pieces from Gucci and Isabel Marant.

The P59 Link Roundup

H&M is wasting no time with their high-end designer collaborations are they? Check out a leaked ad of the Marni for H&M collection (Fashionologie) which hits stores in March. Speaking of collaborations! Last night, Jason Wu had a party in SoHo in honor of the Jason Wu for Target collection (Fashionista). Blake Lively was late to the red carpet and ended up stealing poor, little Chloe Moretz’s red carpet thunder. Kate Middleton also stole herself some extra attention recently! The Duchess of Cambridge has just been named the Hat Person of the Year by the Headwear Association (E! Online). We bet Princess Beatrice is pissed.

It’s cool if she is because Madonna might feel the same way. In a little teaser video showing her in the studio with M.I.A. (YouTube), Madge decided to bust a move, she was promptly told to stop. Talk about a royal shut down. In other music news, Amy Winehouse’s father is livid (Entertainment Weekly) because of the recent Jean Paul Gaultier show in Paris that payed homage to her (Style.com).

In happier news, Adriana Lima is still showing off her rocking body. The Brazilian stunner has been in St. Barts for a Victoria’s Secret shoot (Pop Sugar) roughing it out in the horrible (read: amazing) conditions. Former VS Angel, Gisele Bundchen, also got her sexy on for the latest Versace Jeans campaign (OHLALA Mag) shot by Mert & Marcus.

And how about this? Angry Birds is coming to Facebook (Engadget). Happy weekend!

Get To Know More About the BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP

Ever notice how over the last few years, almost every sexy woman has been seen in one of those body conscious “bandage” dresses? From Lindsay Lohan to Leona Lewis and Alicia Keys to Blake Lively, the bandage dress has found its way into the hearts of all women wanting to accentuate their curves. The man we can thank for bringing this trend back? Max Azria. The brand? Herve Leger. It was originally founded in 1985 before being acquired by the BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP in 1998.

Now, get out your pen and paper to take notes because when it comes to Max’s empire, it is more extensive than many might realize. In the early 80′s, Max left France for the United States and within less than a decade, the BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP was born with the launch of clothing line BCBGMAXAZRIA. His trajectory from that moment on began rising at an incredibly stylish speed. Additional lines were added including the eponymous Max Azria and the aforementioned Herve Leger by Max Azria. Also added to the mix were  BCBGeneration with a more youthful design aesthetic, Max and Cleo, menswear with BCBG // Attitude and there was even a a collaboration with Pop singer Miley Cyrus.

Ahh, the bandage dress! So sexy, right? Speaking of sexy, Max’s wife, Lubov, plays many roles in the company. She’s the Creative Director, essentially the face of the company and incredible arm candy. Together, this duo produces clothes over an array of brands that are sexy, feminine, strong and a laundry list of other positive adjectives. Most of all, their clothes ar desirable.

Click over to the BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP’s website and play around. PS! Did you know that Max and Lubov were one of the forces that helped give Arizona Muse her big break? She opened and closed the BCBGMAXAZRIA Spring 2011 show while also walking in the Herve Leger collection.

Who will they choose to send first down the runway for the upcoming Fall 2012 collections next month? Fingers crossed for another promising new find!

Leonardo DiCaprio Graces Interview Russia’s Debut Cover

Leonardo DiCaprio successfully went from being a young heartthrob to a serious actor (there’s still hope, Efron!) and that apparently means no more smiling. We did catch a brief smile while hanging out with girlfriend Blake Lively…but then they broke up.

Now Mr. DiCaprio is channeling this grief into one intense stare on the cover of Interview Russia‘s debut issue shot by photographer Brigitte Lacombe.

Aliona Doletskaya is running the show at Interview Russia and seems very confident in her choice to select Leo as the cover star for her magazine’s inaugural issue.

“There’s no need for the last name. Because there is only one Leo.”

Sorry, da Vinci. We guess those Mona Lisa and The Last Supper paintings don’t qualify you for a first-name pass anymore.
