By now, the world knows that Madonna’s daughter, Lola, has one sick sense of style. For years, this teenager has caught the media’s attention because of her wardrobe choices. Many referred to Lola as the next Material Girl and then came the clothing line for Macy’s.
Television personality Kelly Osbourne has served as the brand’s spokesmodel but Madonna and Lola decided to go in a different direction for the Material Girl Spring 2012 ad campaign. They went on a search around the country to find real girls who they thought could step into the role made iconic by Pop music’s reigning queen.
The finalists were brought to Pier 59 Studios for a shoot, the winner being crowned by both Kelly and Lola at the end of it. Watch the journey below! We pop up around the 6:37 mark.
