Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model has been on the air for nine years and has gained a reputation for producing working models in the industry. The only thing is, most of those working girls aren’t the winners from each season of the popular television series. Fatima Siad appeared on Cycle 10 and has since gone on to walk in fashion shows such as Hermès. The Cut recently sat with the rising model for an interview where she dishes on her experience with ANTM and still not knowing much about fashion.

Read her response on if she thought the training on ANTM was legit:

“I have a love and hate relationship with Top Model. I think, obviously, if I didn’t do the show, I wouldn’t be where I am now and I never would have been exposed to fashion. I learned to love fashion. I went from not knowing anything to becoming really curious and wanting to know and respecting people in the industry, realizing how hard they work. I will always be thankful for Top Model for that.”

We always thought she was a standout so it’s interesting to see a girl from the show actually work in high fashion. To read the entire article, click over to The Cut now.
