For the Giulietta Fall 2012 collection, Sofia Sizzi was inspired by Luchino Visconti’s 1963 film, Il Gattopardo. More specifically, Sizzi pulled inspiration from the movie scenes portraying morning prayer service to outdoor pursuits.
The use of primary colors gets a more antiqued twist appearing as rose, aquamarine and citrine. We were quite the fan of the citrine “Cameo” dress paired with a white shoe. That’s the type of dress one might wear to be the center of attention in a nonabrasive way. It’s also the type of dress one might wear because it’s gorgeous.
Other favorites were the tweed looks including the tweed jacquard suit. We love that even if you were to break these looks up and pair them with other items, they would still look absolutely fantastic.
